More about these tools

No page here is a government website, and no state agency has reviewed the questions. Pick your own state, because the rules really do change at the state line.

Each bank is written from that state's traffic code, and the section number sits under every question. In most states the link beside it opens that section on the legislature's own site. For Mississippi and Tennessee it opens a dated public copy of the code. Where the state agency publishes the length and pass mark of its knowledge test, exam mode copies those numbers. Where the agency prints neither, the page says so and practice rounds are scored as a percentage only. Road sign questions come from the federal sign manual, so that part is the same on every page.
