More about these tools
On the tractor-trailer, straight truck, passenger bus and federal school bus sheets a partner types 1 for each part the speaker leaves out. On the others a 1 marks a defect found or a requirement not met. The key under every sheet says which.
Every row is a part or condition a published rule names: Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations on most sheets, the federal construction rule for a dump body, and the state's own school bus rule on the California, Illinois, Ohio and Washington sheets. The list under each sheet gives the section. A part those rules do not name has no row, and no sheet prints a pass mark.
