How it works

Service Oklahoma's written test asks 20 questions in 60 minutes, and 15 correct pass it. This unofficial Oklahoma permit practice test holds 280 questions written from Title 47 of the Oklahoma Statutes, each naming its section, plus 48 on federal road signs. Test format checked 18 September 2026. Statute text as published through the 2025 session.

Service Oklahoma gives the written test

Oklahoma's permit test is the Written Knowledge Test, run by Service Oklahoma. Sit it in person or online. The online version needs a computer with a front-facing camera, and an applicant under 18 needs an adult present for the identity check. Two online tries come before an in-person visit, and each fail adds a $4 fee. After a pass, apply for the Learner Permit at a Service Oklahoma or Licensed Operator location, where the vision test takes place.

What section 6-110 puts on the Oklahoma permit test

Section 6-110 lists the parts: eyesight, reading highway signs, and state traffic laws, including a portion on bicycle and motorcycle safety. So this bank carries the 3-foot bicycle passing rule of section 11-1208 and the motorcycle red-signal rule of section 11-202. It also carries the Bernardo-Mills Law: change lanes or slow for a stationary vehicle showing flashing lights. Any measurable quantity of alcohol is too much for a driver under 21.

  • Signal for at least the last 100 feet before a lane change, and keep the left lane for passing (section 11-309).
  • Dim headlamps within 1,000 feet of an oncoming vehicle and 600 feet behind one. A seat belt fine tops out at $20.
  • No one drives between the vehicles of a marked funeral procession in motion, except at intersections run by signals or officers (section 11-315).

Questions and answers

How many questions are on the Oklahoma written test, and how many can you miss?

Twenty, and you can miss 5: 15 correct answers pass. Service Oklahoma allows 60 minutes. Exam mode, below the question, uses both numbers without a clock. Source: Service Oklahoma's Written Knowledge Test page, checked 18 September 2026.

Is this an Oklahoma permit test study guide?

It is a question bank, not a manual. Service Oklahoma publishes the Oklahoma Driver Manual and its own study guide on its Driver Study Hub. Here, every question names its Title 47 section and links to that section on the state courts' network, OSCN, so a wrong answer leads to the law.

Does this bank copy Service Oklahoma's real questions?

No. Nobody here has seen the agency's question pool, and nothing is copied from the Oklahoma Driver Manual or the agency's own practice test. Each question was written from the text of Title 47 as the Legislature publishes it.
