How it works
This unofficial Oregon motorcycle practice test has 27 questions from the Oregon Revised Statutes, with the section under each. Each link opens the whole chapter, so search it for the number. It covers the law only, not riding technique.

The endorsement, helmets and passing in Oregon law
Oregon adds a motorcycle endorsement to a valid license, after a rider education course unless you hold another state's endorsement (ORS 807.175). Operator and passenger wear a helmet at any age (814.269, 814.275). Headlights stay on at all times (814.320). You may pass in the same lane only when passing a motorcycle or moped (814.240).
What this bank leaves out
Riding technique and road signs are not here, and no test length or pass mark is given, so there is no exam mode: use the Start from menu and Missed. The Oregon car bank asks the permit's riding limits.
Mopeds carry no passenger on a highway (ORS 814.330) and stay off sidewalks, bike paths and bike lanes (814.210).
Questions and answers
Do I need a course for an Oregon motorcycle endorsement?
Yes, in most cases. ORS 807.175 requires a motorcycle rider education course unless you already hold another state's motorcycle endorsement or want a restricted endorsement for motorcycles with more than two wheels.
Can two motorcycles share a lane in Oregon?
Yes, two may ride abreast. ORS 814.250 makes it an offense to ride abreast of more than one other motorcycle or moped in the same lane.
Is this the Oregon DMV motorcycle test?
No. This is not a government website, is not affiliated with the Oregon Department of Transportation or its DMV and has never seen their questions. Every answer here rests on a section of the Oregon Revised Statutes.
