What is left out
Law only, and each question cites its section. Fees (Chapter 10), the equipment, staffing and inspection rules for sedation permits in Chapter 5, the application procedures of Chapter 11, the hearing procedure of Chapter 12 and the national codes the rules adopt by reference are not asked. Statute and rules are as they stood on the Legislature's and the Secretary of State's sites on October 16, 2026. Practice for an exam, not medical advice.
- Licenses expire December 31 of every odd numbered year, and renewal takes 16 hours of continuing education (Board Rules Ch. 3).
- Dentists owe three hours on responsible prescribing of controlled substances every two years; dental hygienists do not (W.S. 33-15-109, Ch. 3).
- A dental assistant needs direct supervision to place sealants; a dental hygienist needs only general supervision (Board Rules Ch. 7).
