What the Oklahoma 3rd grade math test covers

Oklahoma's blueprint splits the 50 items among four strands, and the questions here keep its shares. Number and Operations is nearly half: place value to 100,000, rounding, adding and subtracting, multiplication and division facts, fractions and money. Geometry and Measurement covers solid shapes, angles, perimeter, area, measuring length and telling time. Algebraic Reasoning covers patterns, rules and missing numbers. Data and Probability covers frequency tables, pictographs, line plots and bar graphs.

OCCT or OSTP?

Looking for OCCT practice? The state's current blueprint and item specifications use one name for the grade 3 test: the Oklahoma School Testing Program, or OSTP. Under each answer is its objective, such as 3.N.2.2, the code the Oklahoma Academic Standards give to multiplication facts.

  • Calculators, formula sheets and hundreds charts are not allowed on the grade 3 test, so work every question on paper.

Questions and answers

How many questions are on the Oklahoma 3rd grade math test?
