What the Oklahoma 8th grade math test covers
The state blueprint sets an ideal share of the 50 items for each of four strands, and this page keeps them. Algebraic Reasoning and Algebra is nearly half: linear functions, slope and intercepts, expressions, equations and inequalities. Geometry and Measurement covers the Pythagorean Theorem and the surface area and volume of prisms and cylinders. Number and Operations covers exponents, scientific notation and square roots. Data and Probability covers mean and median, scatter plots, samples and probability.
How the answers are checked
Under each answer are the steps and its objective, such as PA.A.4.1, the code the Oklahoma Academic Standards give to solving linear equations. Each answer was worked out a second time from the numbers in the question.
The real test provides a formula sheet and a scientific calculator, so keep a scientific calculator at hand as you practice.
Questions and answers
Is this Oklahoma 8th grade math practice test online and free?
