Maryland real estate sales exam test practice, topic by topic
The state outline for salespersons in the Candidate Information Bulletin has six topics, each held here at twice its count: duties and powers of the Commission 8, licensing requirements 8, brokerage relationships 14, supervision 10, business conduct 12, ethics 8. Exam mode draws 30 against a 30-minute clock and marks at 70%, the state portion's own numbers.
Use it as a Maryland real estate salesperson license study guide
Each explanation links to its section of Title 17 of the Business Occupations and Professions Article or its COMAR 09.11 regulation: trust money, dual agents and intra-company agents, the Guaranty Fund, team names, the Code of Ethics.
A salesperson hands trust money to the broker promptly; the broker deposits it within 7 business days after both parties accept the contract (§ 17-502).
Only the broker or a designated branch office manager is the dual agent; the two assigned licensees are intra-company agents (§ 17-530.1).
The Guaranty Fund pays at most $50,000 a claim, filed within 3 years of discovering the loss (§ 17-404).
