A Kentucky real estate license practice test in the outline's counts
Kentucky's state outline for sales associates has six topics, and the bank holds each at its outline count: the Real Estate Commission 5, requirements for a license 10, brokerage activities and requirements 18, license law requirements for contracts 6, disclosures and agency issues 8, property management 3. Exam mode runs all 50 against a 90-minute clock and the bulletin's mark of 75% correct.
Use it as a Kentucky real estate law study guide
Each explanation names the section of KRS Chapter 324 or of regulation 201 KAR 11 it rests on and links to the text: escrow accounts and the contract deposit release, designated agency, the seller's disclosure of conditions form, and the written property management agreement.
Contract deposits go into the principal broker's escrow account without unreasonable delay; an uncorrected overdraft is reported after 72 hours (KRS 324.111).
In designated agency only the principal broker or a designated manager is the dual agent (KRS 324.121).
Transaction records are kept five years after the deal closes or fails (201 KAR 11:121).
Questions and answers
How many questions are on the Kentucky real estate exam?
For a sales associate the Candidate Information Bulletin lists a general portion of 80 items in 150 minutes and a state portion of 50 items in 90 minutes, or 130 items in 240 minutes when both are taken together.
What score do you need to pass the Kentucky real estate exam?
At least 75% correct, the Candidate Information Bulletin says. Exam mode on this page is marked at 75% too; passing here is practice and says nothing about your result on the exam itself.
Are these the real Kentucky real estate license exam questions?
No, and nobody here has seen that exam. Every question was written for this page from the Kentucky Revised Statutes and the Commission's regulations, and no licensed Kentucky broker or attorney has reviewed the answers yet.
