A Kentucky broker exam practice test in the outline's counts

The state outline for brokers has six topics, and the bank holds each at its count: the Real Estate Commission 7, requirements for a license 8, brokerage activities and requirements 18, license law requirements for contracts 6, disclosures and agency issues 8, property management 3. A timed run takes all 50 in 90 minutes, with the bulletin's 75% correct to pass.

What a principal broker answers for

The questions follow the duties Kentucky puts on the principal broker: the permit to audit escrow accounts, branch office registration, team leaders and team names, written standards for approving the firm's ads, the information security system and errors and omissions firm coverage. Each explanation links to the General Assembly's own text.

  • No check is drawn against uncollected deposits, and escrow accounts stay within Kentucky, identified to the Commission in writing (KRS 324.111).
  • The principal broker owns every listing contract and exclusive agency agreement of the company (201 KAR 11:121, Section 7).
  • A branch office is registered with the Commission within ten days of its creation (KRS 324.112).
