The Alaska Real Estate Law Content Outline, effective September 14, 2023, gives brokers 60 scored questions against the salesperson's 40: powers of the Commission 6, licensing 6, duties and disclosures to the public 9 to 11, requirements governing licensees 9, personal services agreements 4 to 6, property management 9, broker only 15. The outline's last section is asked of brokers alone: trust accounts, supervision, place of business and recordkeeping. Here that covers the trust account and its $100 of the broker's own money, the three-step monthly reconciliation, the written contract with a stand-in broker, branch offices under an associate broker, and three years of records.

  • Commission leaves the trust account within 15 days after the transaction closes (12 AAC 64.240).
  • The recovery fund pays no more than $50,000 on any one licensee's account (AS 08.88.475).
