What 4th grade ILEARN math covers

The blueprint reports four categories, and the questions here keep its shares. Number Sense: whole numbers to 1,000,000, equivalent fractions, comparing fractions and decimals, rounding. Computation and Algebraic Thinking: multiplying, dividing with remainders, factors and multiples, "times as many" problems, and fractions with like denominators. Geometry, Measurement and Data Analysis: angles and shapes, unit conversions, area and perimeter, bar graphs and line plots. Mathematical Processes: multi-step problems and finding the flaw in someone's reasoning.

ISTEP practice tests for grade 4

Indiana's list of state assessment programs has no ISTEP+. For grades 3 to 8 it names ILEARN, so grade 4 practice now follows the ILEARN blueprint and the 2023 Indiana Academic Standards.

  • The grade 4 reference sheet lists unit conversions only. The area and perimeter formulas for a rectangle are not on it.
