How this list was compiled: Wyoming Statutes Title 26 (Insurance Code), Title 31 (W.S. 31-4-103, chapter 9 and chapter 10) and Title 27, chapter 14 (Worker's Compensation Act), on the Wyoming Legislature's own site (https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title26.pdf, title31.pdf and title27.pdf), read on October 12, 2026. Each question names its section and links to its title. The topics follow the state section of the "Wyoming Insurance Content Outlines" for the Property and Casualty Producer examination (State Statutes, Rules, and Regulations: 35 scoreable questions plus 5 pretest questions; effective April 15, 2025), which prints the statute references beside each topic. The outline is linked from the exam scheduling page that the Wyoming Department of Insurance links at https://doi.wyo.gov/licensing/producers (the outline: https://www.pearsonvue.com/content/dam/VUE/vue/en/documents/publications/125101.pdf). The state section of the Wyoming producer exam

The outline effective April 15, 2025 prints the statute beside each topic of the exam's Wyoming section: 20 questions on law common to all lines, 5 on cancellation, binders and claim payment, 10 on auto, worker's compensation and surplus lines. This bank leans toward the last two parts.

Worker's compensation in Wyoming is a state account

Awards are paid from the state's worker's compensation account, and a state division sets the classes and rates (W.S. 27-14-201, 27-14-701). That group asks the Act itself: reporting deadlines, the one-year claim limit and the exclusive remedy.

  • Mid-term cancellation has four grounds: 10 days' notice for nonpayment, 45 for a changed risk or a breach; nonrenewal 45 (W.S. 26-35-202, 26-35-203).
  • An owner's policy insures for $25,000, $50,000 and $20,000; proof by deposit takes $25,000 in cash or securities (W.S. 31-9-405, 31-9-409).
  • The guaranty association pays up to $300,000 a covered claim, $7,500 of unearned premium a policy, worker's compensation in full (W.S. 26-31-106).

The candidate handbook lists 150 questions in 2.5 hours for the Property and Casualty Producer exam. Of those, the outline gives the Wyoming section 35 scored questions plus 5 unscored pretest questions.

What is the passing score for the Wyoming insurance exam?

The candidate handbook says the passing score was set by the Wyoming Department of Insurance and that you need to answer 70 percent of questions correctly. Partial passes are not permitted on a combination exam, so the mark applies to all 150 questions.

It is free. The 100 questions are our own work from the Wyoming Statutes, your answers stay on your device, and the Wyoming Department of Insurance did not write or review any of them.

How long does a Wyoming insurer have to pay a property claim?

W.S. 26-15-124 gives a property or casualty insurer 45 days after it receives the claim and supporting bills to reject the claim or accept and pay it. An unreasonable refusal can add attorney's fees and 10 percent interest.

Yes, in its two general sections of 50 scored questions each, which are outside this bank. Exam mode here draws 35 questions, as many as the Wyoming section scores.
