What the Arizona law questions cover
Six groups: producer licensing and continuing education, life policy provisions, annuities and replacement, disability insurance provisions, unfair practices and penalties, and the guaranty fund. Arizona statutes call accident and health coverage disability insurance. Questions you miss are held in a pile for a second try.
Studying for life insurance alone
Set the topic filter to Life policy provisions, then to Annuities and replacement. Producer licensing and the guaranty fund belong to both lines. Each answer names its A.R.S. section and links to azleg.gov.
- Continuing education: 48 credit hours each license period, at least 6 of them ethics (A.R.S. 20-2902).
- A license expires quadrennially, on the last day of the licensee's birthday month (A.R.S. 20-289).
- An annuity contract may be returned within 10 days, or 30 days for a holder aged 65 or older at application (A.R.S. 20-1233).
Questions and answers
How many questions are on the Arizona life insurance exam?
That number is not on this page. The Title 20 sections read for this bank set no exam length, time limit or pass mark, and Exam mode draws 25 questions as a set size, nothing more.
How many times can you take the AZ insurance exam?
No more than four times within a twelve month period for one line of authority, under A.R.S. 20-284. A person who fails that line four times may not take its examination again for one year.
How many continuing education hours does an Arizona insurance producer need?
At least forty-eight credit hours in each license period, including at least six credit hours of ethics training, under A.R.S. 20-2902. The license itself expires quadrennially, on the last day of the birthday month.
Are these the real Arizona life insurance exam questions?
No. Nobody here has seen the state exam. The questions were written from Title 20 of the Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions did not write or review them.
