Questions and answers
Is there an Arizona dental jurisprudence exam study guide?
The board's own advice is to study its laws, Title 32, Chapter 11, on the Arizona Legislature's site and its rules, Title 4, Chapter 11, on the Secretary of State's site. This page drills both and shows the section after each answer.
How many questions are on the Arizona dental jurisprudence exam?
Fifty multiple choice questions, with an hour to finish, according to the board's Applications and Forms page. A score of 75% or higher passes.
Is the Arizona dental jurisprudence exam open book?
The board says that because the examination is given online it is considered an open book test. The hour still runs, so it helps to know which article a rule sits in.
Who must take the Arizona jurisprudence exam?
All applicants submit a certificate of completion with the initial application, the board says. A.R.S. 32-1233 and 32-1285 list the Arizona dental jurisprudence examination for dentists and dental hygienists.
Is this the board's examination?
No. The questions were written for this site from the public statutes and rules, never from the examination. The Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners has not reviewed this page.
