How this list was compiled: Law questions written from the Arizona Revised Statutes (Title 32, Chapter 20 and sections of Titles 11, 12, 25, 33, 42 and 45) as published by the Arizona Legislature at https://www.azleg.gov/arstitle/, and from the Commissioner's Rules, A.A.C. Title 4, Chapter 28, as printed in the Arizona Department of Real Estate's 2026 Arizona Real Estate Law Book (linked from https://azre.gov/about/laws-rules-policy-statements-and-advisories), all read 2026-10-13. The spread of topics follows the Arizona Real Estate Broker's Examination Content Outline, effective September 23, 2019, published with the Arizona Real Estate Candidate Handbook (https://www.pearsonvue.com/content/dam/VUE/vue/en/documents/publications/090301.pdf). The arithmetic questions use our own figures, five of them on a number the statutes or rules set, and each explanation shows the working. Licence: Own work. Questions, answer choices and explanations were written for this site from the text of the statutes and rules; nothing is copied from another practice test, a prep book or the state exam. Short quotations from the statutes are marked.
How it works
This unofficial practice math test for the Arizona brokers license starts with 14 calculations, each worked in full, then asks 55 questions on Arizona statutes and the Commissioner's Rules. It is not affiliated with the Arizona Department of Real Estate.

Math on the Arizona broker exam
The problems here are broker arithmetic: the monthly trust account reconciliation, the $5,000 a broker may keep in a trust account, the recovery fund limit, forfeiture percentages, section fractions and brokerage splits.
One exam, 29 sections
Arizona gives brokers a single examination, not a national part and a state part. This bank takes the sections that rest on Arizona statutes and the Commissioner's Rules and leaves out appraisal, financing markets and income tax.
What a designated broker is asked
Contract review within ten business days, the thirty-day limit on a written designation, written supervision policies under R4-28-1103 and what an ADRE audit looks for in the trust records.
The recovery fund pays at most $30,000 for each transaction and $90,000 for each licensee (A.R.S. 32-2186).
A broker management clinic is three courses of three hours each (A.R.S. 32-2136).
Only down payments and principal count toward the percent paid before a forfeiture; interest does not (A.R.S. 33-742).
