Fifty questions in the broker weights
The Nevada Salesperson and Broker Content Outline, effective January 15, 2025, weighs the broker's 50 scored items by section, and the bank matches it: contracts 11, agency and duties owed 10, license practice 10, disclosures 7, record keeping 4, three each on the Commission and licensing, two on special topics. A timed run uses the candidate handbook's 90 minutes and 75 percent.
Use it as an NV real estate broker study guide online
The items the outline marks broker only are here: branch offices, cooperative certificates, inspection of records, trust account management and subdivisions. Every explanation links to its section on the Legislature's site, so a missed question leads straight to the text to study.
A trust account names the broker as trustee and is balanced at least monthly (NRS 645.310).
The only broker in an office may not be absent 30 days or more without inactivating the license or telling the Division first (NAC 645.665).
Pass the broker's examination before the experience is complete and a broker-salesperson's license is issued (NRS 645.475).
Questions and answers
How many questions are on the Nevada real estate broker exam?
The candidate handbook lists 80 scored national questions in 150 minutes and a state portion of 50 scored questions in 90 minutes, 240 minutes when taken together. The state portion also carries five to ten unscored pretest questions.
What score passes the Nevada broker exam?
NAC 645.220 sets a grade of at least 75 percent, and the handbook reports the score as the percent of questions answered correctly. Pass one part and fail the other, and only the failed part is retaken, within twelve months.
What experience does a Nevada broker license require?
NRS 645.330 asks for active full-time work as a licensed broker-salesperson or salesperson for at least 2 of the 4 years before the broker's license is issued. The examination may be taken before then (NRS 645.475).
Are these the real Nevada broker exam questions?
No. Each was written for this page from Nevada's statutes and regulations, and none is taken from an exam. Every answer is checked against the section it cites; no licensed Nevada broker or attorney has reviewed them.
