The broker-only lines of the outline
The state outline marks four lines broker only: trust or special accounts, the Ohio broker lien law, the ancillary trustee and the broker's license display. All four are here, with the lien law's deadlines from Revised Code 1311.85 to 1311.93.
State portion: 40 questions
The Candidate Information Bulletin splits the broker's state portion four ways: governance 4, licensing 6, license law and rules 16, brokerage relationships 14. The bank keeps that order of weight.
Principal brokers
Section 4735.081 lists fourteen duties of a principal broker, from trust account records to the written company policy on agency. Any of them may be assigned to a management level licensee.
A lien affidavit for a sale commission is recorded before the conveyance, not after (Revised Code 1311.87).
A change of principal broker is reported to the superintendent within fifteen days (Revised Code 4735.081).
