Title 21, sections 5 and 6, and Title 22, sections 258, 465, 513, 1108 and 1141.2, read in the Legislature's copies of those titles. Topics and their shares follow the OK Bail Bondsman examination content outline linked from the Department's Candidate Information Bulletin (https://www.oid.ok.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/1198-1.pdf). Each question names its section and links to the page of the Statute Book that prints it, or to the Legislature's statutes page. Licence: Own work. Every question, wrong choice and explanation was written for this site from the text of the Oklahoma statutes and rules named under "source". The four parts of the examination

Of the 100 scored questions, the outline gives state statutes, rules and regulations 43, trade practices 25, definitions 20 and licensing 12.

Deadlines after a forfeiture

The clerk mails the order within 30 days of filing it. The bondsman has 90 days from receipt to return the defendant, pays on the 91st day, and then has one year to seek remitter (59 O.S. 1332).

What is left out

The Bail Enforcement and Licensing Act is a separate law that the outline does not list, and it is not asked.

  • Cash collateral goes into a separate non-interest-bearing trust account in an Oklahoma bank within two business days (59 O.S. 1314).
  • Monthly reports are due by the fifteenth, with a reviewal fee of two-tenths of one percent of new liability (59 O.S. 1314).
  • Recommending a particular attorney for a case you bonded is a ground for discipline (59 O.S. 1310).
