How it works
This unofficial Nebraska MPJE practice test asks 60 questions of our own on the Nebraska Pharmacy Practice Act. It has no affiliation with the exam owner, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), or any Nebraska agency.

Written from the Pharmacy Practice Act
Every question was written from one public text read October 14, 2026: the Pharmacy Practice Act, Nebraska Revised Statutes sections 38-2801 to 38-28,117, on the Nebraska Legislature's site, with the amendments of 2026. Each answer names its section and links to that section's page. The four areas and their shares come from the MPJE Competency Statements NABP publishes.
What this bank leaves out
The Uniform Controlled Substances Act and the Department's regulations were not read, so no drug schedule, renewal date or continuing education hour is asked. Federal law has a page of its own, the federal pharmacy law practice test. This is exam practice and not medical advice.
- Medical orders expire: six months for a controlled substance, twelve months for any other drug or device (38-2870).
- Emergency refill: a maintenance drug, never controlled, a seven-day supply, once in six months, the prescriber told within 72 hours (38-28,104).
- One pharmacist supervises up to four technicians and interns combined; with four technicians, at least one is certified (38-2866.01).
Questions and answers
How many questions are on the Nebraska MPJE?
NABP's test day page gives 120 questions on a computer in 2.5 hours, on a test that adapts to your answers. This page's timed run is 60 questions in 75 minutes, half the length at the real pace.
Is the Nebraska MPJE being replaced by the Uniform MPJE?
Yes. On October 14, 2026 NABP's list of participating states showed Nebraska starting the Uniform MPJE on June 1, 2026 and retiring its own MPJE on May 31, 2028. The Nebraska licensure unit can say which one your application needs.
What is the passing score for the Nebraska MPJE?
Section 38-2852 leaves the passing grade to the board: an applicant attains it in an examination in pharmacy and in one in jurisprudence of pharmacy. NABP reports only pass or fail, which is why your result here is a percent.
Can you take the Nebraska MPJE before you graduate?
Section 38-2852, as amended in 2026, says the jurisprudence examination may occur before or after graduation, as determined by the accredited pharmacy program the applicant attends.
Are these real Nebraska MPJE questions?
No. Each of the 60 was written for this site from the Pharmacy Practice Act's public text. Nothing was taken from the MPJE, the Uniform MPJE, the Pre-MPJE or NABP's sample items, and no Nebraska agency reviewed any of it.
