How it works
This MS MPJE practice test is free and unofficial: 120 questions on Mississippi pharmacy law. The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) owns the exam, and neither NABP nor the Mississippi Board of Pharmacy is affiliated with this page.

A Mississippi MPJE study guide in question form
The questions rest on two texts the Board posts on mbp.ms.gov, both read October 12, 2026: the Mississippi Pharmacy Practice Act (Miss. Code 73-21-69 to 73-21-129) and the Pharmacy Practice Regulations, Title 30, Part 3001. They are split across the four areas as NABP's published MPJE Competency Statements weigh the exam.
Mississippi law only
Practice for an exam, not medical advice. Article I of the regulations makes the licensure examination the NAPLEX and the MPJE. The MPJE also asks federal law, which has its own federal pharmacy law page.
- Controlled substance prescriptions are not transferred between Mississippi pharmacies; noncontrolled ones may be (Article XV).
- Schedule II: an oral emergency supply of 48 hours at most, no fill after six months (Article XIX).
- Prescriptions are kept six years, one pharmacist supervises three technicians, and the annual inventory falls May 1 to 15.
Questions and answers
How many questions are on the Mississippi MPJE?
120, on a computer, in 2.5 hours, by NABP's test day page; the questions adapt as you answer. A timed run on this page keeps the same 120 questions and 150 minutes.
What score do you need on the MPJE in Mississippi?
Article I of the Board's regulations asks a score of at least 75 on the MPJE, and a person who fails may repeat the examination no more than four times without the Board's permission.
Is there a free Mississippi pharmacy law study guide?
The law itself is free on mbp.ms.gov: the Pharmacy Practice Act and the Regulations. Here both become 120 questions, each naming a section or article, so a miss points to the paragraph to reread.
What should a Mississippi pharmacy law exam study guide cover?
NABP's outline has four areas: licensure and personnel 22 percent, pharmacist practice 33, dispensing requirements 24 and pharmacy operations 21. NABP says a new outline applies to exams from March 1, 2027.
Are these real Mississippi MPJE questions?
No. All 120 were written for this site from the public text of the Mississippi statute and regulations. None is taken from the MPJE, the Pre-MPJE or NABP's sample items, and no Mississippi agency has reviewed them.
