Five parts, in the outline's shares

The Series 111 content outline gives insurance regulation 12 percent, general insurance concepts 12, real property 25, title insurance 24, and title exceptions and clearing title 27. This bank holds 11, 10, 24, 28 and 23 questions. Alluvion, bond for deed, giving in payment and redhibition are asked from the articles that define them; policy forms are private text and are left out.

Louisiana title insurance exam study guide: newer law than the outline

The outline took effect March 1, 2015. Acts 310 of 2020 and 264 of 2022 have since changed who may hold a title license, and the questions follow R.S. 22:513 as it reads now.

  • A sale needs a thirty-year search; a mortgage alone, ten years or two links in the chain, whichever is greater (R.S. 22:512).
  • Closing funds reach a qualified financial institution by the close of the next business day (R.S. 22:532).
  • A recorded mortgage or judgment loses effect after ten years unless reinscribed (Civil Code arts. 3357, 3359).
