What the Wyoming knowledge exam covers
The Wyoming candidate handbook, Version 2, counts the questions in each of twelve subject areas. Role and responsibility is the largest with 9 of 60, then basic nursing skills with 8 and disease process with 7. Practice here follows those counts.
What a Wyoming CNA may do
The role questions rest on the Board of Nursing's rules and its advisory opinion on the CNA role. A CNA may set oxygen as ordered but not adjust it, may not crush a medication, and always works under an APRN, RN or LPN.
Checked against
Answers cite the Board's rules and opinions, Wyoming Statutes, federal regulations, the handbook, or a federal agency's own page. The real question pool is not public, so every question here is our own.
Renewal figures here follow the Board's rule of December 17, 2025. The handbook of August 2024 still prints older ones.
