What the Tennessee end of course assessment in Algebra 1 covers
The state's blueprint names four reporting categories, and the questions keep their shares. Functions is the largest: function notation, key features, rates of change, and linear and exponential models. Equations and Inequalities covers linear, absolute value and quadratic equations, systems and formulas. Structure and Operations covers units, expressions and polynomials. Statistics and Probability covers center, spread, lines of fit and correlation.
How each answer was checked
Every question carries the code of the Algebra I standard it practices, such as A1.A.REI.B.3. Each answer is algebra on the numbers in the question and was computed a second time. The test facts come from the blueprint and the state's end-of-course overview.
