Which exams Florida gives

The department's FAQ has private applicators pass two exams: General Standards (Core) and Private Applicator Agricultural Pest Control. Public and commercial applicators pass Core plus at least one primary category exam. Everblue gives most exams, remotely or in person.

What this bank covers

Rule 5E-9.023 ends the Core standards with applicable state and federal laws. This bank is the Florida part: license types, categories, CEUs, supervision, records and penalties. Federal label and worker protection rules are on the pesticide applicator practice test.

Exam length

The department's pages read for this bank print no question count for Core. A mock exam here is 40 questions, our number, and ends in a score with no verdict.

  • Two years runs through the records rules: applicators keep restricted use application records, and dealers keep sale records, for two years.
  • A license lasts four years. Renewal by CEUs takes four Core CEUs plus the number set for each category, such as 8 for Right-of-Way.
