By the framework read October 13, 2026: human development, learning and diversity, 20% of the test; promoting academic, social/emotional and career development, 26%; meeting individual, group and schoolwide needs, 20%; the school counseling program and professional knowledge, 19%. The Oklahoma law a counselor works under

Twenty questions cite Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes as the Legislature compiled it on December 31, 2025: the ICAP, the FAFSA opt-out, abuse reports, the bullying act, suicide awareness training, the crisis protocol and the prevention survey. A later session may have amended a section, so open the current statute before you rely on one.

  • Oklahoma splits the abuse report by age: under 18, the Department of Human Services hotline and local law enforcement; 18 or older, local law enforcement.
  • In the ASCA standards, group work starts with a judgment about each member: is this group appropriate for this student?
