OSAT Reading Specialist (115): four selected-response subareas
By the framework read October 13, 2026: foundational reading and writing skills, 25% of the test; reading comprehension and writing, 22%; assessment, diagnosis and evaluation, 21%; professional knowledge, roles and responsibilities, 17%. Oklahoma's reading law and standards
Forty-one questions rest on Oklahoma documents: the 2021 English language arts standards and their glossary, the Strong Readers Act and the dyslexia screening law (Title 70 as compiled December 31, 2025), the state's Quick Guide and its Dyslexia Educator Guide. The framework names Oklahoma's tiered supports, so the tiers, the screening calendar and the reading team are asked.
The Oklahoma glossary keeps two terms apart: phonological awareness covers syllables, onset-rime units and phonemes; phonemic awareness covers the single phonemes.
One plan, two names: the statute's individual reading intervention plan is the Student Literacy Intervention Plan, or SLIP, of the state's Quick Guide.
