In mathematics, half of the 58 points sit in Numerical Reasoning: fractions and decimals, statistics, integers, and ratios with percents. Patterning & Algebraic Reasoning (expressions, one-step equations, the coordinate plane) holds 22 points, and area, surface area and volume hold the last 7. The math set here keeps those shares with 20, 15 and 5 questions. In English language arts, 34 of 60 points come from interpreting texts and 26 from constructing them.
How the answers are checked
Each math answer was worked out twice. Every question names the Georgia expectation it practices, and the word meanings in the language set were checked in a dictionary named under the answer.
The state's grade 6 formula sheet gives triangle and parallelogram area and right prism volume. Practice with it in front of you.
