SPS 305.09 (6) says a grade of 70 percent or greater in each part is passing. An applicant who fails a part retakes only that part, and all parts must be passed within one year of the first examination.
Who can take the master plumber exam in Wisconsin?
SPS 305.91 (3) lists two routes: at least 1,000 hours a year of plumbing work for at least 3 years as a licensed journeyman plumber, or an engineering degree related to plumbing from an accredited school.
Does Wisconsin use its own plumbing code?
Yes. Section 145.02 (2) (a) of the statutes says the rules promulgated by the department constitute the state plumbing code. The questions here come from those rules, chiefly chapter SPS 382.
