What the notice says
The notice for Exam No. 7331, open for applications July 1 to August 25, 2026, describes a multiple-choice test at a computer terminal and asks for at least 70% to pass. Its abilities: written comprehension, written expression, memorization, problem sensitivity, deductive reasoning, information ordering and spatial orientation. It prints no question count or time limit.
One ability at a time
The Start from menu under the question sets one ability, 10 questions each. Every sign, chart, code and rule is made up for the drill; no real traffic rule, fine or street is asked. Exam mode, under the question, draws 30, our number, and marks them against the notice's 70%.
Paper test
Print a paper test with its answer key to work away from a screen.
On sign questions, check the day first, then the hour, then the arrow.
On memorization questions, cover the list before you read the choices.
The Missed pile, under More options, keeps what you got wrong. Clear my progress, under More options, erases what this browser keeps.
Questions and answers
What is on the traffic enforcement agent exam?
The notice for Exam No. 7331 lists seven abilities: written comprehension, written expression, memorization, problem sensitivity, deductive reasoning, information ordering and spatial orientation. The real questions are not published, so every question here is our own.
What score do you need to pass?
The notice says a score of 70% or more is needed to pass. Your score then decides where you rank on the eligible list. Nothing here predicts or promises a result.
Are these the real exam questions?
No. Every question was written for this site. None comes from a real exam, a test publisher or a prep book, and this site is not affiliated with New York City, its Department of Citywide Administrative Services or its police department.
When is the next traffic enforcement agent exam?
The city's exam schedule through June 2027 lists three more application periods: November 5 to December 22, 2026, February 3 to March 23, 2027, and May 5 to June 15, 2027. Dates can change, so check the city's own schedule.
Does this work for a traffic agent exam in another city?
Only where that city's notice lists the same abilities, since each employer writes its own. The police written exam practice test on this site follows a notice that adds inductive reasoning and visualization.
