How this list was compiled: Texas Insurance Code, chapters 31, 82, 83, 84, 541, 542, 542A, 4001, 4003, 4004, 4005, 4101 and 4102, and Texas Labor Code, chapters 401, 403, 409 and 410, read on October 15, 2026 on Texas Constitution and Statutes, the Texas Legislature's own site (https://statutes.capitol.texas.gov/, files served from tcss.legis.texas.gov). The topics and the sections asked follow part III, Texas Statutes and Rules Pertinent to Property and Casualty Adjusting, of the All Lines Adjuster content outline (150 scoreable questions; effective September 1, 2026), which prints the Code references beside each topic; the Texas Department of Insurance's examination administrator publishes it at https://www.pearsonvue.com/content/dam/VUE/vue/en/documents/publications/124401.pdf. Each question names its section and links to it. Licence: Own work. Every question, wrong choice and explanation was written for this site from the text of the law. Nothing comes from a testing vendor, a prep course or an exam question pool.
How it works
This unofficial Texas all lines adjuster practice test asks the state-law part of the exam: 100 of our own questions from the Texas Insurance Code and Labor Code, each naming its section. Not affiliated with the Texas Department of Insurance.

Texas all lines adjuster license study guide: the three parts
The All Lines Adjuster outline, effective September 1, 2026, is 40 percent product knowledge, 40 percent insurance terms and 20 percent Texas statutes and rules. This page asks that 20 percent, with the workers' compensation law the outline lists under it.
What is left out
Policy forms and textbook terms are not public law, so they are not asked. Nor are the Title 28 administrative rules the outline cites beside the Code.
The course route to the license
Section 4101.056 exempts an applicant who completes a commissioner-approved adjusting course and passes its proctored examination, so some candidates take the course examination in place of the state examination.
Acknowledge a claim in 15 days, decide within 15 business days of the last item, pay within 5 business days (Sections 542.055 to 542.057).
A trainee registered with the commissioner may adjust for 12 months without a license (Section 4101.003).
An adjuster completes 24 hours of continuing education each license period, 3 of them in ethics (Sections 4004.053, 4004.054).
