Which parts of the outline these are
The outline effective January 1, 2026 puts 48 of its 80 scored questions on policies, terms and provisions. The other 32 are Hawaii law: 12 for adjusters, 6 to 8 on property insurance and 12 to 14 on casualty insurance. The topics here follow those three parts.
Hawaii adjuster license study guide: what is left out
Policy forms, insurance terms and the Hawaii Administrative Rules are not asked. Every answer links to its section, so the bank doubles as a study guide to the statutes.
Exam mode
Exam mode keeps the real exam's scored length and time limit, with every question on the law.
An independent adjuster acts for the insurer, a public adjuster for the insured; nobody may act for both in one transaction (HRS 431:9-226).
Adjuster records are kept five years after the transaction, eight for workers' compensation claims (HRS 431:9-229).
A motor vehicle policy carries at least $40,000 per person, $80,000 per accident and $20,000 for property damage (HRS 431:10C-301).
