What field 037 covers
By the test objectives read October 16, 2026: animal science 22%; plant and soil science 20%; horticulture 22%; agricultural business and management 20%; agricultural resources and careers 16%. This bank holds 11, 10, 11, 10 and 8. The timed exam asks 40 in 75 minutes, half the real test at its pace.
A question on every objective
Field 037 lists 45 objectives, from swine production to careers in agriculture. Each has at least one question, and each explanation ends with its objective number, so a miss points to what to study.
Where the answers come from
Each explanation names its page: USDA beef grade standards, the National Pesticide Information Center, USCIS, the IRS or a named Wikipedia article. Five answers are sums, worked in the explanation.
Horticulture weighs as much as animal science: ten objectives, from growing media and propagation to floral design, landscaping and turf.
A fifth of the test is farm business: supply and demand, credit, records, taxes, cooperatives and marketing, with interest and break-even sums to work.
Questions and answers
