How this list was compiled: Our own questions, written to the objectives of the GACE Agriculture (6–12) assessment, test code 709, as its framework prints them on the GACE website of the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson, https://www.gace.es.pearson.com/studyguide/framework/709 and https://www.gace.es.pearson.com/test/709, read 2026-10-12: testlet 201 Plant, Soil, Forest, and Natural Resource Sciences, about 30 selected-response questions in 45 minutes, three objectives of a third each; testlet 202 Animal Science, testlet 203 Agricultural Business, Marketing, and Economics, testlet 204 Agricultural Mechanics and Technology and testlet 205 Agricultural Education Program and Career Development, about 20 questions in 30 minutes each, two objectives of a half each; 110 questions in all. This bank holds 15, 10, 10, 10 and 10, five for every objective. Every fact was read on 2026-10-12 in the public page named under its question: Penn State Extension, the NC State Extension Gardener Handbook, Oregon State University Extension, Poultry Extension, EPA, OSHA and the Code of Federal Regulations, FDA, the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service and National Agricultural Library, the Small Business Administration, the CFTC glossary, the National FFA Organization, SAE for All, HyperPhysics (Georgia State University) and six Wikipedia articles. Every calculation was worked a second time. Licence: Questions, choices and explanations are original work of this site.
How it works
This free GACE Agriculture practice test has 55 questions of our own, five for each of the 11 objectives of Agriculture (6–12), test 709. It is unofficial and not affiliated with the Georgia Professional Standards Commission or Pearson.

What the test covers
Agriculture (6–12) has five testlets: plant, soil, forest and natural resource sciences, then animal science, agricultural business, mechanics and technology, and the agricultural education program, by the framework at gace.es.pearson.com, read October 12, 2026.
Timing
The first testlet allows 45 minutes and the other four 30 each, a minute and a half a question. The timed exam here keeps that pace: 55 questions in 83 minutes.
Where the answers come from
Each explanation names the public page its fact was read on, most of them extension and agency pages: Penn State, NC State and Oregon State extension, EPA, OSHA, FDA, USDA, the Small Business Administration, the National FFA Organization and SAE for All. Six are Wikipedia articles.
The fifth testlet is the one a science degree does not cover: the three-component model, FFA history and the kinds of SAE.
All 11 objectives begin "Apply knowledge of", so most questions here start from a setting: a field, a herd, a budget, a shop.
Questions and answers
How many questions are on the GACE Agriculture test?
110 selected-response questions in five testlets: about 30 in the first and about 20 in each of the other four. The assessment is complete only when all five testlets are taken.
How long is the GACE Agriculture test?
2 hours and 45 minutes of testing time in all. A testing session adds 15 minutes for a tutorial and a nondisclosure agreement, which makes 3 hours when all five testlets are taken together.
What is a passing score on the GACE Agriculture test?
The GACE site names three conditions: taking all the testlets, meeting the floor, a minimum score, on each one, and an assessment-level score of 220 or higher. Scores run from 100 to 300, so a number right here does not convert.
Can you take the GACE Agriculture testlets separately?
Yes. The GACE site says you can take the full assessment in one appointment or spread the testlets out. Each scored testlet is banked toward your total, and if you have not passed you choose which testlets to retake.
