Questions and answers

Is this the GACE Business Test I and Test II?

The GACE site today lists one business assessment, Business (6–12), test 715, taken as five testlets. The Commission says the supplier changed from ETS to Pearson and that passing scores cannot be split between the two suppliers.

How many questions are on the GACE business education test?

It has 120 selected-response questions in five testlets. The GACE site adds that an assessment may carry trial questions, under evaluation for later use, that do not affect the score.

What is a passing score on the GACE business test?

The GACE site asks for 220 total cumulative points or higher and for the floor, a minimum score, on each testlet. This page gives a number right, never a pass or a fail.

Is there a GACE business education study guide?

Yes: the GACE website has a study guide for Business (6–12), test 715, with the five testlets and their objectives. The questions here are written to those objectives, and none is taken from its sample questions.

Can the five testlets be taken on different days?

Yes. The GACE site says you may sign up for any combination of testlets, all five included, in one testing session. Each session adds 15 minutes for a tutorial and a nondisclosure agreement.
