Length of the test

ETS allows 2 hours for 120 selected-response questions on a computer. A timed run here is 50 questions in 50 minutes.

What the outline is built on

ETS says the content is based largely on the Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Career Cluster Content Standards of the National Council for Agricultural Education, so those standards are worth reading beside the companion.

  • Work the arithmetic by hand: depreciation, acres from feet, amperes from volts and ohms, the cost of kilowatt-hours.
  • Start with your weakest content area; every area is between 12 and 16 percent of the test.

Questions and answers

Is this a study guide for the agriculture science Praxis?

It is a question-based one. ETS calls the test Agriculture, code 5701, and its free Study Companion lists every topic. This page drills those topics, and each explanation names an article you can read to study the idea further.

Is Praxis 5701 the agriculture test for Utah?

5701 is the ETS code for its Agriculture test in every state. Whether Utah asks for it, and at what score, is for the Utah State Board of Education to say, so check its licensing pages before buying Utah study guides for test 5701.

What is the passing score for the agriculture Praxis?

It varies. ETS does not set passing scores; the state or agency that licenses you does. This page counts right answers and gives no verdict.
