MTTC Physical Education today: Subtest 2 of test 112–113

Health and Physical Education Subtests 1 and 2 (112–113) splits the two subjects: Subtest 1 is health education, Subtest 2 physical education. The MC endorsement takes both subtests and a Professional Knowledge and Skills test, by the MTTC site read October 16, 2026.

What Subtest 2 weighs

Motor learning and movement concepts 32.5%, health-related fitness 32.5%, the physical education program 35%. This bank holds 14, 14 and 16. A timed run asks 40 of them in 53 minutes, the pace of the subtest.

Michigan law in the bank

Two questions come from the Michigan Compiled Laws: MCL 380.1502 on credit for extracurricular athletics, and MCL 333.9156 on the return of a youth athlete after a suspected concussion.

  • Objectives 009 to 012 carry about two thirds of the subtest: motor learning, biomechanics, sports and activities, anatomy, and fitness.
  • The old test 044 was for the Physical Education (MB) endorsement; its page says it cannot be used for the Health and Physical Education (MC) endorsement.
