Grouped by the law the exam is taken from
The Board publishes no outline, only that the exam is taken from the regulations and law on its site. So the questions are grouped by those sources: the Board, definitions, licensure, renewal and continuing competence, practice, supervision and records, and discipline.
What is particular to Mississippi
Renewal goes by surname: A through L in odd-numbered years, M through Z in even. One therapist supervises no more than four assistants and students in total, and re-evaluates an assistant's patient every sixth visit or thirtieth day. Dry needling takes 50 hours of face-to-face study.
- Direct access under § 73-23-35, as amended in 2024: a doctorate or five years of practice, thirty days without improvement, a diagnosis within 180 days.
- Thirty continuing competence units each period: 15 from certified activities, 7.5 clinical, three hours of ethics, professionalism or jurisprudence.

Yes. The Board's application steps describe it as open book style, based on the law and regulations posted at www.msbpt.ms.gov, and say applicants reach it through the online application process.
What is the passing score on the Mississippi jurisprudence exam?
The Board's application steps give the minimum acceptable score as 70 and say no applicant is considered for a license before a passing score is on file. They give no number of questions or time limit, so this page gives none.
