Arranged by the law the exam is drawn from
The Board publishes no outline. Its regulation defines the Jurisprudence Examination as an open book tutorial on KRS Chapter 327 and 201 KAR Chapter 22, so the questions are grouped by those sources: definitions, the Board, licensure, standards of practice, documentation and telehealth, and discipline.
Statutes as amended in 2026
Most sections of KRS Chapter 327 were amended effective July 15, 2026, and the questions use that text. The statute now speaks of licensed assistants and provisional licenses, while some regulations still say certified and temporary permit; each explanation keeps its own source's words.
- Reassessment intervals differ by setting: 14 days for hospital inpatients, 90 days in schools, 30 days elsewhere.
- Thirty days is the usual Kentucky deadline: contact changes, reports of suspected violations, reports of civil claims.
