Written from the two documents the exam uses
The Board's Continuing Education Procedures say the exam has 20 questions from the Practice Act and the Rules and Regulations, and that both can be referenced while taking it. The Board publishes no outline, so the questions here follow those two documents part by part, with the Telehealth Rule.
What is particular to Arkansas
Licenses renew by March 1 every year. Therapists owe two CEUs a biennium and assistants one, no more than half online. Bronchopulmonary hygiene and debridement of wounds need a physician referral before treatment starts.
- "Readily available for consultation" has a number in Rule II: reachable in person or by telecommunications within 30 minutes.
- An aide treats only under direct supervision, which the Act defines as on-site and available for consultation.
- New in 2025: section 17-93-104 lets a physical therapist certify a patient's disability for accessible parking. The Board's posted copy of the Act predates it.
