- Renewal falls on December 31 of odd years, with 30 hours of continuing competence, four of them in Georgia ethics and jurisprudence.
Questions and answers
How many questions are on the Georgia jurisprudence exam for physical therapy?
The Federation's GA JAM page lists 50 questions and 90 minutes, online and on demand. A taker must answer 80 percent correctly and finish within 96 hours of purchase.
How many times can you take the GA JAM?
Four. The Federation's page says the Board will not accept scores from further attempts without proof of extensive further study of Georgia's laws and rules.
Do physical therapist assistants take the Georgia jurisprudence exam?
Yes. Rule 490-2-.02 asks physical therapist and physical therapist assistant applicants alike for passing scores on the examination on Georgia's laws and the Board's rules.
Does the GA JAM count toward license renewal?
Rule 490-4-.02 accepts passage of the Georgia Ethics and Jurisprudence Examination for the four ethics and jurisprudence hours of a biennium, unless the same result was already used for licensure or a Board order.
Is this the real Georgia jurisprudence exam?
No. These are practice questions of our own, written from Georgia's Code and the Board's rules. Neither the Board nor the Federation wrote or reviewed them, and nothing here comes from the module.
