Where the answers come from
These CCMA exam practice questions name the public page or regulation each fact was read in: MedlinePlus, the CDC, OSHA's bloodborne pathogens standard, CMS and the WHO guideline on drawing blood among them.
- More than half of the scored questions are clinical patient care, so give the four Clinical topics the most time.
Questions and answers
Is this the NHA certified clinical medical assistant practice test?
No. The NHA sells its own CCMA practice test and study guide. The 100 questions here are our own, written from the public test plan, and none is taken from an NHA exam or practice test.
What score passes the CCMA exam?
A scaled score of 390 or more, on a scale of 200 to 500, by the NHA Candidate Handbook of 2026. The scale weighs how hard each exam form is, so a count of questions right here does not forecast it.
Is there a CCMA practice test PDF?
Yes. Print the question sheet opens 60 of these questions as a paper test, with an answer key if you tick it, and the print window of your browser can save it as a PDF.
How many times can you take the CCMA exam?
Three, with a wait of at least 30 days between attempts and the full exam price each time. After a third failure the NHA's handbook requires a one-year wait before each further attempt.
