What the Arkansas Specific part asks
Each exam has 100 scored questions: 70 general and 30 on Arkansas statutes and rules. The outlines list the Commissioner, definitions, licensing, producer responsibilities, the guaranty association and marketing practices for both exams. Life then adds life policies, group life, credit life and replacement; Health adds policy provisions, Medicare supplement and group health.
What is left out
The 70 general questions on policy types, riders and tax, and the Department's own rules (Rules 11, 17, 18, 19, 27 and 43), which the outlines cite beside the Code.
- Prelicensing: not less than 20 hours per line, 5 of them on agent licensing and Arkansas regulatory law (23-64-202).
- A lapsed license can be reinstated within 12 months; the late penalty is double the unpaid renewal fee (23-64-507).
- Individual health policies: three years, not two, before misstatements in the application stop being a defense (23-85-107).

Yes. The candidate bulletin of 6/18/2025 says applicants must hold a certificate of completion of prelicensing education before the exam and that certificates are valid for 2 years. Ark. Code 23-64-202 sets not less than 20 hours per line.

Are these the real Arkansas insurance exam questions?
No. They are our own, written from the Arkansas Code. This site has never seen the state exam, and the Arkansas Insurance Department did not write or review them. Exam mode copies the Arkansas Specific part: 30 questions, 60 minutes.
