OSAT Speech/Drama/Debate (116): two selected-response subareas

The framework on the CEOE site, read October 15, 2026, weighs Public Speaking and Debate at 43% of the test and Drama at 42%, six competencies apiece. This bank holds 25 questions on each.

The written assignment

A constructed-response assignment on pedagogical content knowledge makes up the last 15%: the candidate analyzes objectives, activity plans, student work and assessment in speech, drama and debate education. This bank has no practice for that writing.

  • The framework names debate formats by name, Lincoln-Douglas, policy and public forum among them. Two questions ask what sets a format apart.
  • Competency 0012 asks for state standards, so two drama questions rest on the Oklahoma Academic Standards for Fine Arts.
