How this list was compiled: Our own questions, written to the test design and framework of Oklahoma Subject Area Tests field 181, Computer Science, in the study guide on the Certification Examinations for Oklahoma Educators website (https://www.ceoe.nesinc.com/Content/StudyGuide/OK_SG_OBJ_181.htm, copyright 2017 Office of Educational Quality and Accountability and Pearson Education, Inc.; test page https://www.ceoe.nesinc.com/TestView.aspx?f=HTML_FRAG/OK181_TestPage.html, read 2026-10-15): 80 selected-response questions and 1 constructed-response assignment in 4 hours, passing score 240; selected response weighs Computer System Concepts (competencies 0001 and 0002) 17%, Computational Thinking and Algorithm Design (0003 and 0004) 20%, Programming and Program Development (0005 to 0008) 30% and Learning Environments and Social Impacts of Computing (0009 and 0010) 18%, and the constructed response, Pedagogy (0011), 15%. The bank holds 50: 10, 12, 18 and 10. Every fact was read on the public page named under its question: the named Wikipedia articles and Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes in the Oklahoma Legislature's own file, last changed December 31, 2025. OSAT Computer Science (181): four selected-response subareas

The framework on the CEOE site, read October 15, 2026, weighs Computer System Concepts at 17% of the test, Computational Thinking and Algorithm Design at 20%, Programming and Program Development at 30%, and Learning Environments and Social Impacts of Computing at 18%. This bank holds 10, 12, 18 and 10.

What the bank leaves out

The last 15% is one written assignment: analyze a lesson plan for a computer science topic, with student work or assessment data, and describe what to teach next. Nothing here practices it. The framework names no programming language, so the traced questions use plain pseudocode.

  • Several questions are traced by hand: a loop, a remainder, an overflow. Work each on paper before you read the choices.
  • Two questions rest on 70 O.S. § 11-103.6m, the Oklahoma law that has every public high school offer at least one computer science course.

Questions and answers

How many questions are on the OSAT Computer Science test?

The test page lists 80 selected-response questions and one constructed-response assignment. Testing time is 4 hours at a test center, after a 15-minute tutorial and nondisclosure agreement. The page lists no online proctoring for this field.

What is the passing score for OSAT Computer Science?

It is 240, by the test page. The written assignment counts toward that score, so a number right on this page converts to nothing, and the result here is a count with no pass or fail.

What is on the OSAT Computer Science (181) test?

Data representation, hardware, operating systems and networks; algorithms, searching and sorting; program development, data types, control structures and object-oriented programming; then teaching strategies and the social side of computing. The test page lists no reference materials.

Is this OSAT Computer Science practice test free?

Yes, with no account or sign-up. No question here is taken from the real test, the study guide's sample questions or its practice test; each was written to the framework and names its public source.
