How this list was compiled: Own questions, written to the five objectives of the exam guide Adobe publishes for its Adobe Certified Professional certification Digital Video Using Adobe Premiere at https://certifiedprofessional.adobe.com/premiere (read 2026-10-09; the guide says it is based on the July 2025 version of the exam). Facts were read on 2026-10-09 in the Premiere User Guide at helpx.adobe.com/premiere and, for the first objective, at copyright.gov, creativecommons.org, the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative, Adobe Stock's contributor help and Adobe's video production pages. Each question names the page it was written from and links to it. Licence: Own work. Every question, wrong choice and explanation was written for this site from the objectives of the exam guide and the public pages named in each question. Nothing is copied or reworded from an Adobe or Certiport exam, a sample item, a practice product or a question dump.

The five objectives

Adobe's exam guide for Digital Video Using Adobe Premiere, read on October 9, 2026, follows the July 2025 version of the exam. It covers working in the video industry, project setup and interface, organizing video projects, creating and modifying elements, and publishing digital media, with no weights.

Premiere or Premiere Pro

Adobe now names the application Adobe Premiere on its certification pages and in its user guide, and these questions do the same. The real exam also sets tasks inside the application, which a question page cannot. The generative tools the guide names are not asked.

  • A rolling edit moves a cut and keeps the two clips' combined length. A slip keeps a clip's length and place and changes its frames.
  • Sync Lock shifts a track's clips when you insert elsewhere. Track Lock blocks every edit, yet the clips still export.
  • Frame Hold freezes a whole clip. To freeze part of one, the user guide points to Time Remapping.

Questions and answers

How many questions are on the Adobe Premiere Pro certification exam?

By the FAQ on the Adobe Certified Professional site, every exam includes 30 questions and lasts 50 minutes, while the how-it-works page gives 30 to 45 questions. Exam mode asks 30 of ours on the same clock.

What is the passing score for the Premiere Pro certification?

The Adobe Certified Professional FAQ sets it at 700 out of 1,000. A scaled score is not a share of questions right, so you get your count by objective here and no pass or fail.

Is the Adobe Premiere certification the same as the Premiere Pro certification?

Yes. Adobe's certification menu lists Premiere and no separate Premiere Pro exam: the exam is Digital Video Using Adobe Premiere. So this page is also the Adobe Premiere certification practice test.

How much does the Adobe Premiere Pro certification exam cost?

For an online exam through Certiport, Adobe's FAQ gives US$150 in the US. Testing centers set their own prices, and the FAQ tells students to ask their school about free or discounted exams.
