How it works
This TABE math computation practice is 100 calculations of our own, no word problems, for the arithmetic inside the TABE mathematics test. It is unofficial and not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Data Recognition Corporation, which publishes TABE.

What this drill covers
Seven groups, easiest first in each: whole numbers, decimals, fractions, integers, percents, order of operations, and exponents and roots. These are the operations in the numbers and algebra rows of the publisher's mathematics blueprints. The real test also asks word problems, geometry and data questions, which are not here.
How to practice
Work each one on paper before you look at the choices: the wrong choices are the answers that common slips produce, such as a missed carry or a sign error. Then repeat the one operation that keeps going wrong.
After the arithmetic
The TABE math practice test puts the same operations into problems at each level, and the TABE practice test covers all three subjects.
- Line up decimal points before you add or subtract.
- Subtracting a negative number is the same as adding its positive: 14 − (−6) = 14 + 6.
Questions and answers
Is math computation a separate part of the TABE test?
The TABE 13&14 blueprints list one Mathematics test with four parts: numbers and operations, algebraic concepts, geometry, and measurement, data and probability. Computation runs through them, and this page drills it alone.
Can I use a calculator on the TABE math test?
The publisher says the online TABE 13&14 mathematics test uses a Desmos calculator. Ask your test center what applies to your sitting, and do this drill by hand all the same.
Is there a TABE math computation practice test to print?
Yes. Finish a round, press Print and tick the answer key for a worksheet you can save as a PDF. Choose one topic first to print only fractions or only percents.
