Art 002 and Art 102
The test page for Art (002) on the CEOE site, read October 15, 2026, says that test has retired and that Art (102) has replaced it. The 002 framework, dated May 2015, listed 13 competencies. The 102 framework lists 17, and this page follows it.
OSAT Art (102): the four selected-response subareas
Materials and Processes is 27% of the test, Visual Organization 20%, Historical and Cultural Context 18%, and Aesthetics, Art Criticism, and Integration 20%. Our 50 questions split 16, 12, 10 and 12. The last 15% is one written assignment on teaching art, which nothing here practices.
Competencies 0001 to 0004 each ask how to handle media and tools safely, so two questions rest on the federal Art and Craft Safety Guide.
Three questions use Oklahoma's fine arts standards, and two name Oklahoma art: the Kiowa Six and the Oklahoma-born mother in Migrant Mother.
