How this list was compiled: Our own questions, written to the test objectives of MTTC Integrated Science (Elementary), field 093, as the Michigan Test for Teacher Certification site prints them (https://www.mttc.nesinc.com/Content/STUDYGUIDE/MI_SG_OBJ_093.htm; test page https://www.mttc.nesinc.com/TestView.aspx?f=HTML_FRAG/MI093_TestPage.html), read 2026-10-09: 100 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours 30 minutes, passing score 220; four subareas of 25% each: I Foundations of Scientific Inquiry (objectives 001 to 005), II Life Science (006 to 011), III Earth/Space Science (012 to 015), IV Physical Science (016 to 023). This bank holds 12 for each subarea, with every one of the 23 objectives covered. Every fact was read on 2026-10-09 in the Wikipedia article named under its question (48 articles); the eight questions with a calculation were each worked a second time. The sample questions of the study guide were not opened. Licence: Questions, choices and explanations are original work of this site.

How it works

This MTTC Integrated Science Elementary practice test asks 48 questions of our own on field 093, with a source under every answer. It is unofficial, and this site has no tie to the Michigan Department of Education or Pearson.

MTTC Integrated Science study guide: four equal subareas

On the test objectives, read October 9, 2026, each subarea is 25% of the questions: foundations of scientific inquiry, life science, earth and space science, and physical science. This bank gives 12 questions to each and touches all 23 objectives.

Where the weight hides

Physical science spreads its quarter of the test over eight objectives, from atoms and chemical change to gas laws, mechanics, electricity, energy and waves. Earth and space science has only four objectives for the same share.

Timing

One hundred multiple-choice questions in 2 hours 30 minutes is a minute and a half each. Exam mode asks the 48 here in 72 minutes.

  • The test page says an on-screen periodic table is provided, so learn to read one quickly instead of memorizing atomic numbers.
  • The hydrosphere objective names the Great Lakes among the waters to know, beside oceans, streams and ground water.

Questions and answers

How many questions are on the MTTC Integrated Science (Elementary) test?

One hundred multiple-choice questions, taken on a computer. The appointment lasts 2 hours 45 minutes because a 15-minute tutorial and nondisclosure agreement come before the testing time.

What score do you need to pass MTTC 093?

The test page lists a passing score of 220. Some questions on a form may be there for evaluation and not affect a score, so a count of right answers on this page stands for nothing on that scale.

Is the MTTC Integrated Science (Elementary) test still offered?

Yes. On October 9, 2026 the test list carried Integrated Science (Elementary), field 093, with endorsement codes DI and IP and no last administration date on its page. The same list also carries Science (5–9) and Science (7–12) tests.

Are these questions from the real MTTC test?

No. Each was written here to one objective of field 093 from the Wikipedia article its explanation names. The official sample questions and the paid practice tests were not used.
