What field 094 covers

Four subareas of 25% each, by the test objectives read October 13, 2026: constructing and reflecting on scientific knowledge, life sciences, earth and space sciences, and physical sciences, over 22 objectives. Exam mode draws 40 of the 48 questions for 60 minutes, which is the real test's pace of 100 in two and a half hours.

Worked answers

Thirteen questions are calculations or data cases: a choice of graph, a correlation mistaken for a cause, percent error, a unit conversion, a median against a mean, a sex-linked cross, a growth rate, a balanced equation, moles, a gas at constant pressure, momentum, a series circuit and wave speed. Each explanation shows the steps.

  • A quarter of the test is about science itself: research design, equipment and safety, the history of ideas, society, and the links among the sciences.
  • Objectives 016 and 017 reach into organic chemistry: polymers, aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons, and functional groups such as alcohols, ethers and amines.

Questions and answers

Is a periodic table provided on the MTTC Integrated Science (Secondary) test?

Yes. The test page says an on-screen periodic table is provided with the test, and the preparation page lists it as a reference material. The mole question here prints the atomic masses it needs.

How many questions are on MTTC Integrated Science (Secondary)?

100 multiple-choice questions, taken on a computer in 2 hours 30 minutes of testing time. The appointment runs 2 hours 45 minutes, and the test page adds that a test may include questions that are being evaluated and do not affect the score.

What is the passing score for MTTC 094?

A scaled score of 220, on a scale that runs from 100 to 300. The Michigan Department of Education sets it. Examinees who pass are not given a numeric total; those who do not pass are.

How soon can you retake MTTC Integrated Science?

The MTTC retake policy asks for 30 days between attempts at the same test and puts no limit on the number of attempts at a test you have not passed.
